Shows we're attending:
Blas-Tastic Oct '14
Everyone has questions and hopefully we can answer some of the more common ones here.
We aim to ship all order within 2 working days of ordering, however we are a 3-man band with other, full time, commitments. As such, there may be delays in shipping as a result of holidays, sickness, or preparations for wargames shows.
We will put a notice under 'Shop News' on the Shop homepage if there are delays that we are aware of or let you know asap after ordering.
Delivery Times and Late Orders
Under normal circumstances, delivery should be around 1-3 days in UK, 3-5 days to Europe and 7-14 days to the USA and RoW (These are very much aproximate times and is time 'after' the dispatch time) However you should allow up to 15 days (UK) and up to 25 days (Europe and Worldwide) for your order to reach you after receiving the dispatch notice from us here at Red Wyvern Games.
The Royal Mail process for lost or delayed parcels cannot be started until 15 days (UK) or 25 days (Europe and Worldwide) have elapsed. If your order has not appeared in that time, it is worth checking with your local postal delivery office to make sure the package is not waiting there for you to collect.
If all else fails and your order still hasn't turned up then we will work with you to rectify the situation. we will first make enquiries to the postal services to try to locate it; if this fails, then we will replace the order, or cancel it and give you a full refund at our discretion.
We do obtain proof of posting for all orders that we dispatch.
- UK Standard Shipping - Regular first class shipping. Costs are £1.20 plus 50p for each additional item.
- UK Express Shipping - First Class Recorded Delivery. Costs are £2.50 plus 50p for each additional item.
- Europe Standard Shipping - International Small Packet Post. Costs are £3.50 plus 50p for each additional item.
- RoW Standard Shipping - International Small Packet Post. Costs are £4.50 plus 50p for each additional item.
As stated, overseas orders are sent by International Small Packet post. This is not a signed-for or tracked service. Should you wish us to send items with this facility, we will provide a quote - in order to do this, pay for the item and then send us an email requesting an express or signed for service and we will provide you with an estimate and charge you the difference via paypal.
Unless we happen to send you a PDF copy of our rules straight from ourselves, then you can only purchase them from wargamevault.com, if you do buy any of our books through them, then any terms or conditions of sale are governed by them. You can access all the necessary infomation for wargamevault here. If you do have an issue with a book you ordered via wargamevault however then please do contact us!
Out of Stock
We're a small company, so we don't hold a lot of stock, so if there is a run on a particular item, it's not unforseable that we would go out of stock. Though we usually have an order underway to replenish stock, if there's a partiular item that you're after that isn't in stock and we don't have on order anyway, then we'll get one shipped in for you. it usualy takes 5 working days for our books to arrive to us from the printers.
If for some strange reason you purchase a book that turns out to be out of stock then we will get a new order for the book sent to us and shipped out to you asap (again 5 days from the printer to us). we will also work out some small compensation for the distress of not having a Red Wyvern Games rulebook to your side as quickly as you'd hoped
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, UK and EU customers may change their minds and cancel and return an order within seven working days of receipt of that order, for any reason, and receive a full refund (including shipping charges originally paid). You can find full details of the DSR via the Office of Fair Trading's website, here: www.oft.gov.uk
- Customers must return all goods supplied to them if they cancel an order.
- Customers are bound to take good care of goods they receive and to return unwanted items in good condition.
- Customers that do not return unwanted items in good and resaleable condition are liable for the cost of such items.
- Customers must return goods at their own expense.
Please note that under UK law distance selling regulations do not apply if customers have seen and examined figures in person at a show and then ordered online at a later date.
We will of course replace items that are damaged in transit, or that are incomplete or faulty. While we always do our utmost to ensure that only books of a good quality are dispatched, there will inevitably be occasional cases when an item slips through the checking - if this occurs please contact us as soon as possible (via email) and we will do our best to sort it out in a timely manner. We may at our discretion require that faulty or damaged items are returned to us for inspection before being replaced.
If the postal services attempt delivery to you and fail, then they should notify you by leaving a card, telling you that a package is awaiting your collection at the post office. If this occurs, it is your responsibility as customer to ensure that it is collected within the time period indicated by the postal services. If a package is returned to us by the postal services because it has not been collected in time from the sorting office, we will contact you to determine if you wish to cancel the order (in which case we will refund the full purchase cost of the goods, but NOT the original shipping costs) or to re-send it to you, in which case we will need to levy an additional charge for the re-shipping cost. The Royal Mail can take three to eight weeks to return a domestic package, potentially much longer for an overseas one.
Queries and Complaints
If for whatever reason you have any queries or complaints then please do not hesitate to contact us via our email address firstname.lastname@example.org. If you've got a query or complaint then we will do whatever we possibly can to resolve it as soon as possible.
Nope, we're not big enough for VAT (just yet) but even still, the UK Government doesn't charge VAT on books. We're VAT exempt!
